Who said you couldn't workout sitting down? 


When I  think of yoga, I think of incredibly tight clothing, impossible moves where my legs end up in places they don't want to go, and the stress of being surrounded by experts when I feel like a total n00b. Chair yoga is an awesome alternative to traditional yoga, making it more accessible to the beginner while still offering the same benefits, like: 

  1. Improved strength

  2. Improved flexibility

  3. Improved proprioception (knowing where your body is in space) 

  4. Reduced stress

  5. A way to be more social

Be More Yoga

I started attending Jude's Saturday morning classes at the Belvedere Hotel in Mt. Vernon (8:15AM weekly) when I first started working on Givefit. It was one of the first free yoga classes I attended, and Jude was the first instructor to embrace the concept of Givefit.
